Zubits closures reviewed on Run Oregon Blog

We are getting great feedback from Zubits magnetic closures users every day and recently Geli Heidelberger from the Run Oregon blog wrote about her experiences: "Ever since I was a pre-teen and laced zippers into my Converse high-tops, I have seen several types of lace replacement mechanisms for lace-up shoes. The great thing about Zubits closures is that you can keep your laces on the footwear of your choice but do away with knots and floppy bows which makes your shoes super easy to put on and take off. Zubits magnetic closures getting great reviews

Now that we've been shipping Zubits magnetic shoe closures to our 7200 initial Kickstarter backers, we're getting tons of great user responses. People in the gym are stoked that their Zubits closures snap right on so they can get going without a hitch. People on the run (runners using Zubits magnets) are reporting that they love being able to streamline their run sans the floppy bows. Moms are really glad to get their kids moving while those kids are really glad about showing up at school sporting their new Zubits closures. Those with special needs are reporting how Zubits magnets are bringing more freedom and mobility to their lives. All in all we've been swamped with positive feedback. Over the next few blogs we'll share some of these stories and look forward to hearing more from you!

Kickstarter Success

We are in the middle of our Kickstarter Campaign and it has been a resounding success.  Zubits are approaching 10 times our funding goal!  People are obviously excited about the easiest way to put on and take off shoes.  We are super grateful to our new fans and all their support.  Many backers have suggested how Zubits will help them and all sorts of various kinds of people.  Our focus turns more and more to engineering and development to deliver Zubits as soon as we can.

Getting Reactions in San Francisco

Valerie and I showed off Zubits on Market Street in San Francisco and had some great conversations.  We had a lot of fun and people thought Zubits were pretty darn cool.  Val really cracked me up with her conversations.  We met one super sweet lady in a wheelchair and she ended up being the first receiver of Zubits in Public.

Zubits Video Finished

We finished our Zubits Promo video that will later become our Kickstarter video.  We have shared it with friends and received a lot of positive feedback.  Thanks everyone!

San Francisco Startups Showcase

Valerie and I went to a Startup Pitch event to mingle, support others startups, and talk about our product.  Met some great people.  We wore our Zubits and lots of people thought they were really cool.

Patents Filed!

Our patents have been filed and we are able to discuss and reveal what they are!  We are working on some video explanations and should have them available within a couple weeks.
